According to the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetables Association on Tuesday, Vietnam's fruit exports to China during the period hit nearly 262 million US dollars in value, an increase of 36.4 percent year on year.
The sharp increase in fruit exports to China was attributed to rising ratio of processed fruit products shipped to the market. Vietnam's dried fruit products are much welcomed in the Chinese market, according to the association.
In the first 11 months, Vietnam earned 937 million US dollars from fruit and vegetable exports, an increase of 24.2 percent year on year, according to Vietnam's General Statistics Office.
Vietnam has set a target of 1 billion dollars in revenue from fruit and vegetable exports in 2013.
