Ashbury Labelling, the leading provider of specification and labelling services to the food and drink industry, has appointed Klaudyna Terlicka as the new Regulatory Services Manager responsible for overseeing Eastern Europe.

With ten years’ experience in the food and drink industry, Klaudyna joins the team from Leatherhead Food Research where she was a Principal Regulatory Advisor on legislation in the EU, UK, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia and several other Eastern European countries.

In her new role at Ashbury Labelling, Klaudyna is responsible for expanding the company’s services in Eastern Europe, which include product and ingredient specification, artwork verification and regulatory training to ensure customers’ labels comply with EU and local regulations.

Klaudyna commented: “I am delighted to be joining the Ashbury Labelling team. Eastern Europe poses unique challenges for food and drink manufacturers and retailers as there are very specific interpretations of EU regulations in each country. This means there are added complexities that our customers must overcome when developing products that are compliant with local and European laws. I look forward to working closely with customers to offer training and advice so that product specification and labels are right first time.”

James Post, Managing Director at Ashbury Labelling added: “Klaudyna’s appointment is highly significant, allowing us to offer our end-to-end methodology in even more European countries. Klaudyna has special expertise in legislation in Eastern European markets, making her well placed to advise our customers on becoming compliant in countries such as Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. We are pleased to welcome her on board.”

Klaudyna is currently studying for a PhD in non-harmonised EU food Law at Reading University.
