Dutch food ingredients firm CSM has unveiled Arkady Reduced Carb White Bread Mix, which adds to its existing portfolio of bread mixes.
The new bread mix is a white bread mix with 45% less carbohydrate and is claimed to contain 50% more protein.
CSM product manager Liz Kerr said that the launch of the Arkady Reduced Carb White Bread Mix is in direct response to the demand from the UK consumers.
"White bread is the most popular bread in the country, but our customers have been asking how can we reduce the carb content in it.
"The new product will help bakers extend their repertoire and meet the demand that is clearly out there," Kerr added.
The launch will be supported by point of sale (POS) kits available for use in store which will include bread bands, posters, consumer information leaflets, printed counter top and shelf wobblers.
CSM Bakery Supplies offers a wide range of products varying from ingredients to semi-finished and frozen, almost-ready and ready-made products.
