Pizza Hut wants you to ring in the New Year with some delivered pies and is giving extra incentive with a 50% off deal. All online pizza orders will be half off starting January 1 through January 10.
The deal is in honor of the first ever online purchase, which just so happens to be a Pizza Hut pizza. Apparently, it's the 20th anniversary of the historic event, which took place in 1994.
That initial purchase was a large pepperoni, mushroom, and extra cheese pizza and the transaction was made on a site called "PizzaNet." As part of the promotion, Pizza Hut is re-launching that original page so customers can see what it was like to order a pizza 20 years ago. The experience will surely be very different than Pizza Hut's recent Xbox pizza ordering app.
