stik, a German manufacturer of thermoformed containers and lids, has developed new Bebo Twist container designed for a variety of applications, including soups, sauces and ready meals.Specified in either mono or multilayer polypropylene, the re-closable thermoformed tub is offered with a variety of options to meet individual customer requirements.
It can be decorated by in-mould label thermoforming or by printing, labeling or sleeving, which food allows manufacturers to create on-shelf differentiation as well as meet specific brand objectives.
The thread segments in the seal flange lock with the inner thread flights on the injection moulded PP lids to allow easy opening and closing. The cap, which is injection moulded by RPC Bramlage Food, can also be labeled.
The high-barrier version of the tub incorporates an EVOH layer that provides a barrier against oxygen to provide an extended shelf life and the strength to allow hot fill, pasteurization, sterilization and aseptic filling.
