PND, a company producing machinery and industrial plants for the processing of fruit, is taking part at Fruit Logistica after a turnover of €3 million in 2013.

The peeling, coring and selection machine for apples, pears and kiwis was among the most popular, as it can process between 20 and 80 fruits per minute. Thanks to an optional cutting system, it can also wedge or dice. The peeler of models PL4/PL6/PL8 can be set as automatic thanks to a loader and feeder for apples.

It can also be combined with a loader and feeder for pears.

PND is leading in the Polish market with the automatic apple line. In the past 5 years, it has installed 25 complete and automatic lines for apple processing.

PND is now exporting all over the world, so much so that exports represent 80% of the turnover.

In 2013, PND introduced the SS8 mango coring and the PL6M mango peeler machines (photos above and below).

The latter is entirely made of stainless steel and it is very easy to maintain and clean. It also performs very well with ripe fruit.

The universal SS8 cutter, which can wedge, slice and cut in sticks, is fed manually and can process around 500kg/h of fruit and vegetables. It is now being used also to core mangos.

THE SS8 will be showcased at Fruit Logistica, Hall 4.1 - Stand A-07. Vincenzo Di Priscio, general manager, Valerio De Caro, sales manager, and Gianluca Giordano, sales assistant, will represent the company.
