Solutions for fruit processing

Initially, it was designed with the scope of peeling mangoes, while nowadays it can also peel kiwifruit. The advantages of the PL6M technology, which include regulating the thickness of the peel, managing the production speed and the rotation of the fruit via an inverter, associated with the possibility of processing fruits of different calibres without any adjustment and fast maintenance can now be exploited for peeling both mangoes and kiwifruit" continues Virginia Cascella.
The range of machines
"Those who opt for one of our 15 semiautomatic, manual or automatic machines available in the PND catalog, will experience that it can easily be adapted to one's needs. For example,the new DRR coring and ring slicer machine can core and cut apples and peaches into slices, with a minimum thickness of 3 mm per ring. The loading plate rotates at intervals: when the plate stops, the three operations, namely loading, coring and slicing take place simultaneously," adds Virginia Cascella.
