Beverage major Coca-Cola India is geared up to enter the dairy sector, with the launch of its new dairy-based drink Maaza Milky Delite.
The company believes that its new product could become a potential game changer in the category, following its launch in the second half of 2014.
Meanwhile, plans are also underway for a relaunch of Coke Zero - a low-calorie variation of Coca-Cola, reported The Times of India (TOI).
Commenting on the launch, Coca-Cola India head Venkatesh Kini was quote by TOI as saying, "In taste, Coke Zero is nearly identical to Coca Cola, something that Diet Coke is not. It was created with young adults in mind. Its look, positioning, communication is very unlike a diet drink and therefore a lot of young adults, go getters identify with the brand."
Introduced across the world in 2005, Coke Zero is anticipated to be the seventh largest carbonated soft drink in the world by retail value.
Coca-Cola India produces carbonated drinks. It offers soft drinks, juice drinks, fruit drinks, and bottled water, as well as ice tea and cold coffees.
