French food company Bongrain has reported a significant rise in full-year revenue, which the company say was helped by acquisitions and their performance in Western Europe.
Turnover for the fresh dairy processor increased 7.9% during the year to €4.4 billion. In a statement, the company said that 2.9% of this growth can be attributed to recent acquisitions including the purchase of French Cheesemaker Berthaut.
In December of last year, Bongrain took control of French instant formula manufacturer Sodilac.
In Western Europe, its primary sales division, the company registered a turnover of €2.7 billion, up 3.9% on last year.
Bongrain's full accounts will be published next month.
