Peco Foods, a US-based poultry processor, plans to establish a poultry plant in northeast Arkansas, with an investment of $165m.
As part of the project, the company will develop a poultry processing plant, supporting hatchery and truck stop facility as well as a feed mill-grain storage facility, reported Arkansas Business.
This will be the company's second project in Arkansas.
In support of the project, Peco will receive industrial revenue bond issues of $128.5m in Randolph County and $36.5m in Clay County.
Formed with the merger of Hickman family's business and Harris Poultry & Egg in 1968, Peco Foods processes, markets, and exports poultry products to retail-grocer and food-service markets in the US and specializes in boneless breast products.
