Kellogg Company is proud to be named a Top Company for Executive Women by the National Association of Female Executives (NAFE).
NAFE is one of the country's largest associations for women professionals and business owners, providing resources through education, networking and public advocacy to empower its members to achieve both career and personal success.
To determine its annual ranking, NAFE assesses corporate programs and policies dedicated to advancing women, in addition to the number of women in each company overall, in senior management and on its board of directors.
"We encourage and promote the advancement of women at Kellogg by creating an inclusive environment, one that optimizes everyone's unique abilities, insights and talents," said Kris Charles, Vice President Global Philanthropy and executive sponsor of Women of Kellogg (WOK), an employee resource group committed to empowering and developing women in the company.
The 2014 National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) Top Companies for Executive Women application includes more than 200 questions on female representation at all levels, but especially the corporate officer and profit-and-loss leadership ranks.
"We are actively identifying and preparing future leaders of this company," said Mark King, Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion. "Groups like WOK and our external partners help provide insights into the career development challenges women face so that we can help them meet their personal and professional goals."
