Indena’s plant-derived pharma and health-food products are to be distributed by speciality chemicals company Azelis in Romania and Moldova.
Indena said that the deal is part of its strategy to expand its global presence in the pharma and health-food markets, by collaborating with high-value partners to complement its own sales efforts. Indena and Azelis have been working together for many years in the Spanish and Portuguese market.
“We are glad to extend our existing partnership with Azelis, with its in-depth local knowledge supported by an international structure, high level technical support and tailored solutions,” said Ferruccio Bellati, sales director at Indena. “Together, we expect to consolidate and broaden our pharma and health-food customers’ portfolio in Romania and Moldova, Countries that are the heart of the growing Europe.”
