Visitors to the stand will be able to view the latest development in retail ready packaging with members of the TRM team on hand to discuss the role and value of change management, innovation and supply chain consultancy when designing and introducing new packaging.
TRM’s new range of corrugated packaging products have been designed in response to the shift towards ‘multifunctional’ packaging, which combines features of one touch replenishment and retail ready boxes to create hybrid packs with multiple applications.
This change will allow retailers to quickly load shelves with individual SKUs or keep the products in their secondary packaging.
Mark Ryan, innovation manager at TRM, believes that the show provides an ideal platform for the packaging firm to discuss the next phase in retail ready packaging.
Ryan said: “Foodex is a great place for food and beverage manufacturers and suppliers to gather knowledge and understand what the immediate future holds for the industry.
“There is an increase in the demand for competitively priced high quality print and the latest move towards more dynamic secondary packaging is likely to drive this further.”
“The show is a great forum to discuss the latest trend and how it will impact on the packaging sector.”
Foodex is the UK's premier event for the food and drink processing, packaging and logistics industries and begins on March 24 at the NEC in Birmingham.
The TRM team will be located at stand L354 and will also be showcasing several new packs printed using the high quality seven colour Göpfert Impression press, which completed its first print run in January this year (2014).
