Spanish wine producer Miguel Torres has partnered with Ste. Michelle Wine Estates for import of its Spanish and Chilean wines in the US.
Ste. Michelle Wine Estates will distribute Miguel Torres' Jean Leon as well as brandies including Torres 10-year and the Jaime I 30-year bottlings in the country, beginning May 2014.
Commenting on the partnership, Ste. Michelle Wines Estates president and CEO Ted Baseler said that Miguel Torres' distinguished portfolio is an ideal fit with Ste. Michelle's 'string of pearls' wineries, all of which represent an unwavering commitment to producing distinctive, high quality wines from authentic estate vineyards.
Miguel Torres general manager said, "We are pleased with the many similarities of our philosophy to that of Ste. Michelle Wine Estates.

Miguel Torres currently has properties in Spain's key wine growing regions including Penedès, Priorat, Conca de Barberà, Ribera del Duero and Rioja. It also owns vineyards in Chile and California.
