He will take over responsibility for the markets of North Asia, South East Asia, Australia and Global Travel and Middle East (GTME), alongside his existing responsibility for Africa, Turkey, Russia and Eastern Europe, and the global route to consumer work.
“Bringing these markets under Nick’s leadership will enable to us to build on the footprint we have already created in these fast growth geographies,” said Ivan Menezes, chief executive of Diageo.
David Cutter, currently international supply centre director, is appointed president of global supply and procurement.
David Gosnell, the current president, will retire at the end of the financial year.
The supply and procurement function will report directly to Deirdre Mahlan, CFO of Diageo.
"The three changes bring together a strong leadership team," said Menezes.
