The design, created by brand agency LFH, uses an interlocking stylized fish pattern to underpin its positioning as ‘Seafood Experts’ – with 110 years of Norwegian heritage and tradition.
The new design also includes a badge lock-up to hold all key product information, and emphasizes the heritage that is integral to the brand whilst unlocking the passion Norwegians have for mackerel.
Chrissy Levett, creative director at LFH, said: “We’ve created a contemporary, bespoke pattern bringing a whole new look to the category which will resonate with a younger, primarily female audience, as well as with children. The aim has been to differentiate it from competitors and challenge long-held perceptions of the brand without alienating existing buyers.”
