US-based C.H. Guenther & Son (CHG) has acquired Tribeca Oven, a New Jersey-based manufacturer and marketer of artisan breads and rolls.
In 1988, Tribeca was established as a fresh bread bakery in New York City. It transitioned from a fresh bakery to frozen parbaked in 2005.
In 2011, the executive team designed and implemented a new state of the art production line to drive Tribeca's growth and innovation.
CHG president and CEO Dale Tremblay said that Tribeca founder Peter Lobel and his executive team has built a highly successful artisan bread business around quality products and an engaged and committed workforce.
"We strongly believe that with CHG resources and depth, coupled with the strengths of Tribeca, we can accelerate the already strong growth and expansion of the business," Lobel added.
C.H. Guenther & Son, which has ten production facilities in the US, three in Canada, and three in Europe, produces various branded and customer food products for retail and foodservice customers and consumers.
