ing, a US-based brewery, has expanded its product portfolio with the introduction of new Stone Smoked Porter w/Chipotle Peppers.The limited edition 5.9% ABV offering is available in 22oz bottles and on draft at retailers, restaurants and bars in select markets across the nation.
Stone brewmaster Mitch Steele said that Stone Smoked Porter is made with chipotle peppers and chilies that provided an enhanced roast flavor to the peat-smoked malt.
"There is a subtle taste of heat in the finish that balances well with the coffee and cocoa flavors found in the base beer," added Steele.
Stone Smoked Porter w/Chipotle Peppers was initially launched in 12oz bottles alongside Stone Smoked Porter w/Vanilla Bean in 2012.
Stone Brewing produces and sells craft and specialty beers. The company specializes in bold-flavored beers.
The company also operates Stone Distributing, which distributes more than 30 craft beer brands throughout Southern California.
