Nestlé Confectionery’s flagship brand KitKat is launching a new treat for consumers this summer – KitKat Chunky Orange.
With stock available from 12th May, KitKat Chunky Orange is a combination of crispy wafer finger covered in orange flavoured milk chocolate.
The bar will be available as a limited edition and has an RRP of 60p.
Nestlé UK & Ireland senior corporate communications manager James Maxton said:
“Retailers looking to maximise sales should stock up on KitKat Chunky Orange at launch and display off shelf so shoppers cannot miss it.
“What’s more, with young males (18-30 year olds) being the target audience for KitKat Chunky, this limited edition once again offers retailers the opportunity to attract additional younger shoppers into stores.”
KitKat Chunky is a top 10 Hunger brand, with total singles sales worth £38 million in 2013 .
When KitKat Chunky Orange last hit the market in Jan-Feb 2012, as an eight-week limited edition, it achieved £1.3m sales.
