For high-tWipak emperature applications, Wipak has developed a paper/plastic composite that can replace aluminum compounds. This package is steri-lizable up to temperatures of 130° C and can be heated in a microwave oven.

High barrier effect, long shelf life, or storage life – Wipak’s new composite so-lution offers properties identical to aluminum packages. It is also much thinner than comparable aluminum composites.

The oxygen barrier regenerates quickly after autoclave treatment. The new composite solution also stands out for its extraordinary mechanical stability (flex-crack resistance).
