Bacardi's D'USSE has announced the launch of a new spirit, which is known as D'USSE XO.
The new D'USSE XO is a blend of hand-selected eaux-de-vie, which is aged for ten years or more and offers flavor notes of ripe blackberry and apricot, with hints of dark chocolate and walnut, the company claims.
It is packaged in a bottle that features the Cross of Lorraine - a symbol of honor, courage and perseverance used by the French resistance during World War II - a statement wherever it rests.
Bacardi North America president Robert Furniss-Roe said that there is an opportunity to lead the evolution of the Cognac category even further, after the launch of D'USSE VSOP.
"Consumers are fascinated with dark spirits and care more than ever about the quality and level of craftsmanship in the brands they consume. D'USSE XO is the response to that request," added Roe.
Priced at a suggested retail price of $230 for a 750ml bottle, D'USSE XO will be available in key cities across the country.
