Spirits group Remy Cointreau has appointed a new chief executive officer.
Valerie Chapoulaud-Floquet will take up the CEO role in September.
She will report to François Dubreuil, chairman of Remy Cointreau.
The news comes five months after its previous CEO resigned.
Having worked at L’Oreal for over 20 years, Chapoulaud-Floquet held a number of managerial roles across Europe, the US and Asia.
She joined LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton six years ago.
She was president and chief execuitve of Louis Vuitton for the Americas.
Commenting on the appointment, Dubreuil said, “Her keen understanding of the brand, her knowledge of the luxury sector, and her well known temperament and charisma are all assets which will enable her to perform her role to the full.”
