Living a healthy lifestyle doesn't mean giving up delicious food. As Americans continue to find new ways to improve their health, consumer demand for figure-friendly, on-the-go snacks is exploding.
In response to growing demand, Alpina reinvented its popular line of yogurt smoothies to offer a thicker, creamier texture, sleeker package design, and new flavors sure to satisfy health enthusiasts and dessert lovers alike.
Alpina's updated Yogurt Smoothie boasts seven grams of protein and fulfills 20 percent of the recommended daily allowance of calcium. The new product was reformulated to give consumers a thicker, creamier texture and less sugar than other smoothies on the market today. In fact, each Alpina Yogurt Smoothie has 2.6 g of sugar per once - less than any other comparable product on the market. And, with all the benefits of a spoonable yogurt -- protein, calcium and live active cultures -- Alpina Yogurt Smoothie also has the added value of being portable.
"Alpina Yogurt Smoothies are the perfect on-the-go snack and are even a healthy dessert alternative," said Gustavo Badino, Alpina Foods' general manger. "We're excited to offer consumers a great tasting dairy option that not only offers convenience but is also so indulgent, you'll forget how good it is for you."
The seven-ounce smoothie is currently available in four flavors: vanilla, mango, strawberry, and strawberry banana. Alpina plans to add more indulgent flavors to satisfy people's sweet tooth like cherry, dulce de leche, tropical coconut, and other flavors to be announced later this year.
Alpina Foods has a variety of product lines available in a wide variety of retailers throughout the United States, including Wegmans Food Markets, ShopRite, Duane Reade, and other national and regional food retailers.
