Tata Global Tata Global BeveragesBeverages, through its British subsidiary, has bought the entire stake in Australian coffee business Earth Rules.

The move is said to be in line with the company's strategy to become a leader in natural beverages sector, which includes tea, coffee and water.

Earth Rules is involved in roast & ground coffee and in pods (single service portions) category in Australia, under the MAP brand.

"It also helps us strengthen our portfolio in the high growth contemporary 'single serve business," added Misra.

The companies have not disclosed the financial terms of the transaction.
