Core Tip: A hidden treasure has been unearthed by Wychwood Brewery, and it’s as pure and precious as anything its ever brewed before.
A hidden treasure has been unearthed by Wychwood Brewery, and it’s as pure and precious as anything its ever brewed before.

Hobgoblin Gold is the latest brew to carry the Hobgoblin unique imagery joining the ruby and King Goblin brews. While Gold might be lighter in colour, it's definitely no lightweight. At 4.5% abv, the combination of four hop varieties and an infusion of wheat and malted barley has resulted in a perfectly balanced golden beer, with a huge hop punch.

Available in the off trade in 8 x 550ml bottles, Gold enjoys the heritage associated with its ruby counterpart - tastefully mischievous and pure guilt-edged refreshment.

Marketing manager for Wychwood, Chris Keating said: "Hobgoblin is going from strength-to-strength in the off trade. Hobgoblin Gold captures the consumer desire for golden beers and will appeal to our existing fans and those looking for a lighter refreshing beer."

Hobgoblin Gold will be available at www.classicales.co.uk and selected Tesco and Waitrose Stores.
