As part of a strategic plan to capitalise on growth opportunities within the cold food & snacks market, Faerch Plast – one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of plastic packaging for the food industry – has appointed three new Business Development Managers for the South, North East and North West.
Darren Percy is new Business Development Manager for the South and joins Faerch Plast from Benson Box where he was National Account Manager. Prior to this, he spent five years at Veriplast Solutions Ltd (now Paccor Group) as UK & Ireland Sales Manager. He has also enjoyed roles at Swan Mill Paper Company, Ecolab, Dohler Group and JohnsonDiversey.
Richard Wild is responsible for generating new business in the North East. Richard started his packaging sales career at LINPAC Packaging where he spent 13 years in various roles including Regional and Senior Key Account Manager and European Food Service Marketing Manager. Most recently, he worked for SAICA Pack and Solo Cup Company.
Piyush Ladd’s remit covers the North West and he joins from Sealed Air Corporation where he was EMEA Account Manager. Before that, he spent almost eight years at LINPAC Packaging in various sales related roles including Sales Development Manager and Divisional Pricing Manager.

Faerch Plast has developed a wide range of innovative containers for a variety of cold food & snack products including bakery, dairy, vegetables, fruit and cold meats.
The company offers packs with cutlery included, perforated snap packs for portion control, and the recently launched resealable dispenser tray.
Generally produced from PP or APET which is a glass clarity material for maximum on shelf impact, the containers are available with standard or hinged tops whilst others are suited to top sealing.
