Knorr, the cooking Masterbrand from Unilever UK, is strengthening its Flavour Pot range with four new variants – Garden Herbs, Ginger & Lemongrass, Paprika and Mexican – available to retailers from late June.
The new additions to the Flavour Pot range follow Knorr’s successful entry into the Herbs and Spices category in February this year – Knorr Flavour Pots have already achieved sales of almost £1 million since launch.
Lucy Walsh, Marketing Manager for Knorr at Unilever UK, said: “Since launching Knorr Stock Pot in 2008 – the first jelly pot format of its kind – and using the same technology to launch Knorr Gravy Pot in 2012, we’ve revolutionised the ambient aisle with this new, more authentic product format.
“Over 1 in 5 Households bought a Knorr Stock Pot in the last 12 months2, and the total “pot” platform is now worth over £35 million RSV3.
“By adding to our unique Flavour Pot range we aim to continue the success story with four new exciting flavours that tap into the latest food trends whilst continuing to provide the Knorr Flavour Pot USP – the flavour of fresh herbs with the convenience of dried.”
Stocked in the herbs and spices aisle alongside dried herbs and spice products, the Knorr Flavour Pot range now comprises nine variants – Mixed Herbs, Three Peppercorn, Curry, Garlic, Mixed Chillies and new Garden Herbs, Ginger & Lemongrass, Paprika and Mexican.
In line with the existing range, the new additions to the Knorr Flavour Pot portfolio will be sold in packs of four with an RRP of £1.59.
