Independent sauce Stokes Saucesmaker, Stokes Sauces, has announced the addition of four new lines nationally in all Waitrose Stores.

Chilli Jam, Red Onion Marmalade, Mango Chutney and Sticky Pickle will all be available in Waitrose stores across the country from the end of June, in time for alfresco dining.

First stocked back in 2011, Waitrose currently list Stokes’ classic sauces, including Tomato Ketchup and Real Mayonnaise, however, the new lines will showcase more of the company’s most popular recipes.

What makes Stokes Sauces unique are the real food ingredients packed into every bottle, whether it be 200g of real Italian Tomatoes in every 100g of Ketchup, or the sticky black treacle and balsamic vinegar used to create the Red Onion Marmalade.

Carla Smith, buyer for Waitrose said:

“Stokes are all about delivering great taste using the best quality ingredients.

“This is exactly what our customers are looking for and we’re delighted to add them to our range.”

Now available globally, Stokes Sauces was founded in 2004 by Rick Sheepshanks, when looking to encourage his daughter to eat more vegetables.

He said: “Our aim has always been to make simple but delicious sauces with absolutely no cutting corners, just great ingredients.

“The sauces really do speak for themselves.”

With the business growing over 30% in the last year, the availability of Stokes Ketchups, mayonnaise, condiments and relish continues to grow too.
