Inventure Foods has launched Rader Farms Fruit PLUS Vitamins, a fortified whole frozen fruit product, a move which advances the company’s frozen fruit category.
According to the company, proprietary technology was used, while topical nutrients were sourced from whole fruits and vegetables to develop the new product.
Fruit PLUS Vitamins builds on naturally-occurring vitamins found within whole strawberries, blueberries and blackberries and boosts the nutrition level with five additional vitamins, including B1, B6, D, E and K.
Available in Strawberries & Blueberries and Mixed Berry Blend (featuring strawberries, blueberries and blackberries), the Fruit PLUS Vitamins line is currently available in grocery store freezers in select markets with a suggested retail price of $7.99 per 21-ounce package.
Strawberries & Blueberries and Mixed Berry Blend can be stored in freezers and are 80 calories or less per serving. In addition, they are certified Kosher and gluten-free.
Rader Farms, a division of Inventure Foods, offers frozen blueberries, raspberries and berry blends, as well as organic fruits.
