Spicy Vines, a new Napa label looking to blend the wine, spirit and culinary worlds has named innovative brand agency PureMoxie of Oakland, to lead them forward in the market.
The spiced red wine with fruit, spices and brandy infusions is looking to capture more of the digital space with their marketing efforts, as they expand their distribution beyond Northern California.
"We felt a natural kinship with the Spicy Vines brand - they definitely have moxie," said Paris Hinson, president and executive creative director of PureMoxie. "This brand is not only bringing a new product to the market, but they are creating a new image for the modern wine drinker and cocktail connoisseur. It's young, it's fun, and we can't wait to bring it alive creatively."
Spicy Vines was founded in 2011. The company launched its proprietary red wine blend infused with fruit, spices and spirits in 2012, a wine that has since become known for its unparalleled creativity and quality among wine enthusiasts.
Spicy Vines currently retails at independent beverage dealers and restaurants throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and will be debuting in Whole Foods and Ralph's stores this coming Fall 2014.
Like their wine, Spicy Vines strives to be a young and free-spirited business model that embraces the bold and the different. The company feels that incorporating digital applications into its marketing campaign will be essential to the brand's expansion.
"We're very excited to take our brand to the next level with the PureMoxie team," said Spicy Vines co-founder, Crystalyn Hoffman. "Our customers are always seeking something new and unique -- like our product. Spicy Vines disrupts conventional expectations in the industry and provides our customers with a wine tasting experience unlike any other they have had before. PureMoxie excels in finding innovative ways for us to empower our brand's uniqueness and deliver these exceptional experiences to our customers."
