ABC Research secures approval to test General Mills' ingredients

The laboratory will now test ingredients that are supplied for General Mills' 89 individual brands.

ABC Research claims that it offers accurate test results to its clients, by using recognized practices in testing.

ABC Research chief scientific officer Gillian Dagan said: "Receiving the approval of General Mills is yet another example of the many reasons partnering with ABC Research Laboratories is ideal for any company in the food industry."

Currently, ABC Research offers several services including pathogen and pesticide residue testing, nutritional labeling, FDA detention resolution and appliance benchmark testing.

General Mills produces a wide range of food products including ready-to-eat cereals; convenient meals, including meal kits, ethnic meals, pizza, frozen breakfast, and frozen entrees; snacks comprising grain, fruit, and savory snacks.
