Saif Zone director Saud Salim Al Mazrouei was quoted by Emirates News Agency as saying that: "We are proud of having Delta Industries in the zone because it is one of the leading companies in the field of food manufacturing and packaging, and it has proven in the past three years that it is one of the most successful companies in the canned food sector.
"Today, Delta Industries confirms once again its success by increasing its investment by Dh40 million."
The expansion is scheduled to be completed within a year.
Commenting on the expansion, Delta Industries founder and director Shiraz Osman said: "After it succeeded in producing food products like tomato paste, tomato ketchup and milk powder, Delta Food Industries is planning to open new production lines to produce cream, milk and tea packaging in the new factories."
