XUVO, the world's first tablet cocktail mixer specially formulated to produce a neon colored glowing effect in drinks, has inked a deal with alcohol delivery app Nestdrop (nestdrop.com) - three months before it is even slated to hit store shelves.

"It was an easy decision to carry XUVO," said Nestdrop co-founder Michael Pycher. "We always want to bring innovation to our customers and this is it."

"Being the only product of its kind is helping us to carve a niche in the alcoholic beverage industry," says Killian Wells, a pop music artist and entrepreneur who first thought up the idea for XUVO in his recording studio. "I wanted a cocktail flavored energy drink to help fuel my creativity during long studio sessions," he says. "Then I thought, wouldn't it be cool if I could take it one step further and get these drinks to light up?" Wells connected with a team of scientists and began three years of research and development to perfect the taste and desired effect. He is currently raising funds to launch the product via Indiegogo (xuvo.co/igg).

XUVO (pronounced ZOO-VOH) is an effervescent tablet that is added to 6 oz. of water and 2 oz. of vodka or white rum to create delicious, lightly carbonated mixed drinks. It is being introduced with four different flavors; Neon Mojito, Electric Blue Hawaiian, Orange Buzz, and Cosmic Apple. All are sugar-free, gluten free, and vegan with only 10 or less calories and 3 grams of carbs per serving.

The tablet also features a bisect line that allows for easy splitting for what Wells calls a XUVO Remix: combining two flavors into one 8 oz. drink. An example would be mixing half of the Electric Blue Hawaiian with half of the Neon Mojito to make a XUVO Hawaiian Mojito. Additionally, the bisect line allows drinkers to make a smaller 4 oz beverage of any one flavor or a XUVO shot.

XUVO can be prepared with or without alcohol (for a "virgin" cocktail) and because it contains caffeine (along with taurine, guarana, and B-vitamins), it can be used as an energy supplement to keep the party going all night long.

What really sets XUVO drinks apart, however, is that it is UV-reactive and actually glows under a club's blacklight.

XUVO will be released to stores in November 2014. A tube of ten tablets will retail for $9.99. The Nestdrop app will allow customers to order XUVO® and liquor on their phones and have it delivered to their door in under an hour.

Wells is excited to see his product hit major grocery, liquor, and convenience stores. He also has his sights set on making XUVO a staple in clubs, bars, airlines, and even bowling alleys to compliment cosmic bowling. "I want people to be able to go into a club and ask for a XUVO and vodka," he says.
