AQANAT the post harvest sanitation company steps up productions as greater emphasis is placed on food safety and alternative post-harvest sanitation technologies for a broad spectrum of pathogens in citrus fruit and vegetables at the III International Symposium on post harvest pathology in Bari, Italy.
With installations underway for the 2015/2016 harvest including the Fontestad group in Spain, AQANAT is quickly bringing its zero chemical and water saving technology to mainstream post-harvest sanitation in Europe.
During the Symposium, Dr Simona Sanzani of University of Bari Aldo Moro illustrated the multiple mode of actions and benefits of CVD diamond electrolysis technology in controlling post-harvest citrus diseases in process waters.
"Innovation and creativity in research lead to industrial success", AQANAT spokesman reported.
In addition to the global citrus market, AQANAT’s progress is significant in becoming commercially viable with many other fruit and vegetable commodities.
