US-based bourbon whiskey brand Four Roses is set to introduce new series of limited-quantity bottling in September.
The 2015 limited edition small batch is preared using the brand's 16-year-old Bourbon from OBSK recipe, 15-year-old OESK, 14-year-old OESK and 11-year-old OBSV recipes.
The limited edition features aromas of ripe cherry, caramel custard and fresh magnolia, while its spicy cinnamon and clove flavors offer subtle tastes of orange peel, apricot and light honey.
Four Roses retiring master distiller Jim Rutledge said: "This combination of mature bourbons is something truly special.
"It's great when you can go out on a high note, and this Bourbon delivers that."
The new limited series is bottled at barrel strength with a proof of 108.5 and abv of 54.25%.
Four Roses will manufacture and supply around 12,600 hand-numbered bottles of the new limited edition, which will be available from mid-September in retail outlets during National Bourbon Heritage Month.
Four Roses produces ten distinct Bourbon recipes by combining two mashbills with five different yeast strains.
