The garlic contact group from Italy, Spain and France will meet on 23rd march in Sulmona (L'Aquila). The group is part of the Mixed committee created by Italy, France and Spain.
The event will be coordinated by Roberto Cherubini from Mipaaf and will be hosted by Consorzio dell'aglio rosso di Sulmona. The order of the day will be as follows:
1) Analysis of the campaign in the three countries
2) Expectations for 2017 (cultivated areas and volumes)
3) Evaluation of the probosal to modify Regulation TRQs, version 7, chapter on garlic
4) Phytosanitary problems
5) UNECE regulation and OECD brochure
6) Establishing the date and location of the next meeting
