With New Year less than a month away, The Irish House is gearing up to bid adieu to the old and welcome the new. Recently, the pub launched TheIrishMenuMadness which is a carefully crafted menu to bring about a brand new and expansive range of new specialty cocktails, beers, and food options.
Talking about the new menu, Sanju Arora, GM, said, “We are really excited about the new menu. The community eats, the loaded fries, the huge range of delicious burgers, and the new pastas and pub favourites will ensure that all our patrons have balanced food options for lunch, evening drinks, and for dinner. The wider variety of beers and the new specialty cocktails are going to further elevate the weekend drinking experience for all our guests.”
One can begin the feast with appetisers like ‘Skewed’ Cottage Cheese, Handcrafted ‘Cuban’ Pork Cigars, Chilli Corn Sliders and Armagh Chicken Bites. In the new ‘Fries’ section comprising classic crispy fries loaded with a variety of sauces and toppings; one can dig into the Mexican Mess, the Angry Bird (crispy fries topped with spicy chicken, smoked hot sauce, melted cheese, finished with a sunny side up fried egg), or the Good Ol’ Mac n Cheese Fries.
Within the massive new burger range, vegetarians, can pick from The Big Fat Greek Burger, The Shroom Melt, The Mean Bean (black bean patty with cheddar cheese melt topped with jalapenos, salsa, sour cream, ribbon lettuce, and crackled black pepper), or The Irish Couch Potato.
Meat lovers can pick among The Sloppy Pig Out, The Double Chicken Ghost Crunch, or The Irish House Burger (the pounded beef burger with jalapeno cheese sauce, caramelised onions, cheddar melt, and a sunny side up). In sandwiches, the menu includes Classic Triple Cheese & Jalapeno Melt, the Open Farmhouse S’wich, the Notorious P.I.G (pot roasted shredded pork with crispy red onions and a chilli apple jam), or the house favourite – Murphy’s BBQ Chicken Law. Other varieties include Old School Mac n Cheese, Skinny Potato and Corn Cakes, or the Legendary Burritos (soft tortillas with Mexican rice, baked pinto beans, salsa, sour cream, jalapenos, and lettuce, with shredded pork, smoked chicken, or veggies).
With an array of introductions on the bar menu, one can pick from over 50 varieties of international and domestic brews, including a range of draught and craft beers. Cocktails include Irish signatures like the Whistleblower (Teacher's, Laphroaig, raspberry juice, passion fruit extract), Butter Rum, Jack Sparrow, The Inverted Bird, The Red Army (Jägermeister, Teacher's, cranberry juice), and the likes, or from the High Teas list (signature range of LIITs) like the Irish Tea Party or the Seven Island Iced Tea. Introduced for the first time is a section of Community Eats and Community Drinks. One can call for the Melting Pot (Beer or Jalapeno Fondue), the signature Hummus Platter, or the Headless Chicken Platter, and pair them with community cocktails like the Irish Terminator (vodka, gin, rum, triple sec, brandy, and grenadine, grape juice, topped with beer), The Vertigo or the Green Goblet.
