The first batch of imported cherries from New Zealand has arrived at the port of Xiaoshan, a city near Shanghai.
The buyer is Zhixiansheng, an online retailer from Shanghai. It is the first time fresh fruits are imported into the port of Xiaoshan. The cargo is 600 boxes of cherries, weighting 1.4 tons with a market value of 230,000 Yuan.
Recently, the first batch of imported fruits arrived at the warehouse of Xiaoshan Cross-Border Airport E-Commerce Park, and they will soon be delivered to the hands of consumers by express delivery. This is considered as a significant breakthrough in terms of cross-border e-commerce business. It is understood that these fruits are fresh cherries from New Zealand ordered by e-commerce supplier ZhiXianSheng. These 598 boxes cherries weigh in total 1.36 tons, worth about 23,000 Yuan (€3,200).
