US-based storage containers retailer the Container Store has announced a new organizational structure and senior management changes.

Melissa Reiff, who is the current president and COO of the Container, will become its CEO and Sharon Tindell will assume the role of the company's president, besides continuing in her current role as chief merchandising officer.

Under the new changes, the current CFO of the retailer Jodi Taylor will hold the additional responsibility as the chief administrative officer of the company.

While Melissa Collins has been named as the new CMO, Eva Gordon, Audrey Robertson and John Thrailkill have been chosen for the role of executive vice presidents in several capacities.

The management changes will take effect from 1 July 2016.

The Container Store,a retailer of storage and organisation products, had opened its first store in 1978. Currently, it has 79 store in various locations across the US each with an average space of 25,000ft2. The Container Store currently offers over 11,000 products.
