On September 30th, one day before implementation of the long-simmering registration system for milk formula, CFDA issued an announcement about issues related to administration of formula registration for infant formula products during transitional period. Recently, Jiading District Market Supervision Bureau made administrative punishments on Shanghai Husi Food based on law including warning, confiscating illegal foods and illegal gains, a fine of 16 million 984 thousand yuan and revoking & canceling food production license, etc. Xuhui District Market Supervision Bureau made administrative punishments on OSI Group (China) including warning and a fine of 7 million 301 thousand yuan. The two companies were fined 24 million 285 thousand yuan in total, and they expressed to accept the punishment and pay the penalty on schedule.
