A spider originating from Brazil was found at a Lidl supermarket in Rotenurg, Lower Saxony on Saturday. A local shopper was shocked to discover the spider when shopping. According to reports, it scuttled out of the banana packaging leading employees to close off the area and alerting the authorities.

A dangerous animal specialist was sent and dealt with the critter which was found to be a Brazilian wandering spider which uses its venomous bite to catch it's prey in it's natural habitat all the way in South America.

Its' bite could prove fatal to humans, according to the police. Only the one spider was discovered however, to everyone's relief.
