Bakers of Paris is recalling some croissants sold in 18 Northern California Whole Foods Market stores because they were made with an egg wash that was not declared on the label. Anyone who is allergic to egg could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date.
The recalled items are Croissant 4 Pack Baker Paris with UPC number 24159300000, Chocolate Croissant 4 Pack Baker Paris with UPC number 24159500000, Almond Croissant 4 Pack Baker Paris with UPC number 24159400000, Croissant Assorted 4 Pack Baker Paris with UPC number 24159800000, Chocolate Croissant with UPC number 46000058528, Croissant with UPC number 46000058529, and Almond Croissant with UPC number 46000058559. These products have “packed on” dates of 1/4/17 or earlier and “sell by” dates of 1/7/17 or earlier.
