The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is expanding the recall of I.M. Healthy SoyNut Butter products for possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination. There are no illnesses linked to this product in Canada, but an E. coli O157:H7 outbreak in the U.S. linked to these products has sickened at least 16 people.
The same products are recalled, but additional UPC numbers have been added. All products are in 425 gram containers, and all codes of these products are recalled. They include Creamy SoyNut Butter with UPC number 6 54989 94020 0, Chunky SoyNut Butter with UPC number 6 54989 95020 9, Unsweetened SoyNut Butter with UPC number 6 54989 96020 8, Honey SoyNut Butter with UPC number 6 54989 97020 7, and Chocolate SoyNut Butter with UPC number 6 54989 98020 6.
If you purchased any of these products, do not eat them. Throw them away in a sealed container or take them back to the place of purchase for a full refund.
