"As of the beginning of August, the farms of the republic harvested more than 9,000 tons of early potatoes from an area of ​​621 hectares. And almost 11,000 tons of open ground vegetables from an area of ​​450 hectares, of which 232 tons were laid for winter storage." said Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Andrei Ryumshin.

He added that in Bakhchisaray and Simferopol regions more than 6,000 tons of vegetables of closed ground were produced, of which 1,700 tons are cucumbers and 4,300 tons are tomatoes.
