On September 27th, the launch-meeting of the national standard of "vermicelli" was held at Yantai Shuangta Food co., LTD. More than 40 leaders and experts from the National Food Standardization Technical Committee, China Food Industry Association, China Academy of Agricultural Sciences, China Agricultural University, Jiangnan University and China Food Fermentation Industry Research Institute, as well as heads of enterprises such as Shuangta Food and Guangyou Potato attended the meeting to discuss and analyze the present situation and future of vermicelli industry.

Zou Guangyou, chairman of Sichuan Guangyou Potato Co., Ltd., who drafted the national standard, first introduced the drafting process and key points of the standard. Yang Xiaoming, Secretary-General of the National Food Standardization Technical Committee, pointed out that the national standard of " vermicelli " should be completed with high efficiency and quality in accordance with the work flow, requirements and time schedule, starting from the industial development of standardized, leading and innovative.
 
Gu Zhengbiao, Vice President of Jiangnan University and Secretary-General of the National Starch Standardization Technical Committee, Mu Taihua, Chief Scientist of the Potato Processing Innovation Team of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science, Qiu Kai, Executive Vice Director of the National Food Fermentation Standardization Center, and Shen Qun, Professor of China Agricultural University, analyzed the draft of " vermicelli " national standard  from professional points.
 
Yang Junmin, President of starch and starch products committee of China Food Industry Association and Chairman of Yantai Shuangta Food Co., Ltd., Kong Zhaofeng, Vice General Manager of Sishui Lifeng Food Co., Ltd., Zhang Zongxian, Vice General Manager of Henan Tianyu Potato Industry Co., Ltd., Zhang Xiaowen, Chairman of Gansu Yinhe Food Group Co., Ltd. Feng Jihui, Vice general manager of Dalian Longgang Food Co., Ltd., Zhou Yongshun, chairman of Qinhuangdao Yongshun Food Co., Ltd., Yang Guihai, chairman of Qinhuangdao Sanli Food Co., Ltd., Yang Zhendong, general manager of Inner Mongolia Aifeng Food Technology Co., Ltd., Yuan Wenyu, general manager of Hebei Ruiyitian Starch Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Shen Bin, director of the Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau of Boai County, made their speeches.
 
The participants agreed that the launch of the national standard of " vermicelli " would greatly enhance the management level of the enterprises of fans,vermicelli, sheet jelly, and bean jelly, and promote the development of the industry with high quality.
 
The launch-meeting would be chaired by Shen Zhiyong, deputy director of the Enterprise Development Department of China Food Industry Association. Shen Yuru, Secretary-General of Starch and Starch Products Committee of China Food Industry Association, also made a keynote speech as a standard sponsor.
