Recently, the National Health Commission issued “the Notice on the Establishment Plan of National Food Safety Standards for 2018”. The plan formulates/revises 63 items of national food safety standards, including food products standards, nutrition and special dietary food standards.
"Notice" requires that the drafting of standards should be based on the results of food safety risk assessment, fully considering the level of economic development and objective practical needs of our country, and can refer to relevant international standards and risk assessment results. It is necessary to conduct in-depth investigation and study to ensure that the standard text is rigorous and the indicators are set up scientifically and reasonably.
