Belarus has banned pork imports from 12 provinces of China since November 24.

The website of the Veterinary and Food Supervision Bureau under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus announced that pork imported from 12 provinces of China had been banned because of the outbreak of classical swine fever.

According to the information from the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), the outbreak of classical swine fever in Heilongjiang, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou, Hunan, Yunnan, Shanxi, Hebei, Inner Mongolia and Anhui provinces, accordingly, pork imports was banned from these areas.

According to the information, since November 24, Belarus has temporarily banned imports of pig, pork and other processed products from the above provinces.
