Letter of the General Administration of Customs on the Continuation of Registration of Overseas Production Enterprises of Infant Formula Foods Exported to China (Food Letter [2018] No. 113)

On March 13, 2018, the former National Certification and Accreditation Administration issued the "Notice on the Continuing Registration of imported Infant Formula Overseas Production Enterprises" (Announcement No. 9 of 2018) announced the continuation of the overseas enterprises of imported infant formula milk products registration application method, application time, follow-up processing, application format and documents to be submitted requirements. In order not to affect the trade of related products, on November 29, 2018, the General Administration of Customs issued a letter on the continuation of registration of overseas production enterprises for infant formula in China (Food Letter [2018] No. 113), requesting embassies in China The national authorities and related enterprises shall be notified to submit the application for renewal registration and relevant materials to the General Administration of Customs as required by December 15, 2018.


The National Health Commission, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the General Administration of Market Regulations jointly issued a notice on the work plan for the follow-up evaluation of food safety standards (National Health Office Food Letter [2018] No. 1081)

In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Food Safety Law, the National Food Safety Plan of the 13th Five-Year Plan, and the 13th Five-Year Plan for the Monitoring and evaluation of Food Safety Standards, effective efforts are made to promote the tracking and evaluation of national and local standards for food safety. On the 27th of November, 2018, the National Health Commission, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the General Administration of Market Regualtions jointly organized the “Working Standards for Food Safety Standards”, and the work objectives and principles of standard tracking and evaluation. , work methods and content have been clearly defined.
