Zhengzhou has launched a new Southeast Asian route in its freight train service between China and Europe. Central China's transport hub commenced the new freight train destination from Zhengzhou early Friday.
The new route will take trains to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, through the border city of Pingxiang. The freight train had machinery and e-products on board, unveiled the route operator Zhengzhou International Hub Development and Construction Co.
The train was also reported to be carrying Vietnamese fruit, rice, dried fruit and aquatic products as it makes its way back to Zhengzhou.
