Vietnam NutiFood Nutrition Food Co., Ltd. and Japan Asahi Group announced joint venture cooperation in Ho Chi Minh City on January 10. Representatives of the two companies said that they would provide nutritional food for children up to Japanese standards to the Vietnamese market.
It is reported that Asahi Group owns the well-known Japanese brand of nutritional food for children, Wakodo.
The cooperation between the two companies is to establish NutiFood-Asahi Joint Venture Company on the basis of giving full play to the advantages of all parties. Accordingly, Vietnam NutiFood Nutrition Food Co., Ltd. has the advantages of long-term business experience, mature distribution channels in the domestic market and full understanding of the nutritional status of Vietnamese children. Asahi Group has the advantage of focusing on the production of high-quality milk powder and food for children and rich experience in consultation of nutritional products for children.
Shoyama Katsuo, president of Asahi Group, said Wakodo is one of Japan's most famous children's nutrition brands, bringing a lot of income to Asahi. Vietnam is a potential market, so Asahi has chosen to work with a Vietnamese company to find opportunities to enter the Vietnamese market.
